Towering over the cemetery is the large “Cemetery Crucifix”. The timbers of the wooden cross are of modern materials, but the bronze sculpture of Christ formerly hung in the Old Mission Church.

Behind the Cross is the adobe and stucco north wall of the Old Mission Church. If you look along the tiled roof line of the church, you will notice how the roof beams protrude through the wall and are held in place by long wooden pegs.
